The second edition of Startup Grind X chapter in Male’, in partnership with Dhiraagu & Sparkhub, featured Mr Dhanish Athif, founder & COO of MyBump, Malaysia.
MyBump is an AdTech startup and crowd-advertising platform that helps drivers earn additional income by placing advertisements on their car, everywhere they go. They match car owners with brands that are interested to explore this revolutionary medium of advertising. Using brand stickers placed on their car, they help drivers earn income through on-the-road brand ambassadorship. On the flip-side, they enable brands achieve brand awareness.
In his talk, Dhanish focused on the importance of not losing your focus and having the right determination to build an AdTech startup. “Anyone can have bright ideas. I have people come up to me and say that they had a similar idea like MyBump. But then again, it’s not about having the right idea. It’s about having the right execution and acquiring customers for your business and not losing your focus. Execution is what defines you and the rest of your competition”
MyBump has also worked with international notable clients such as Disney Owned Pixar & World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and notable Malaysian company TESCO and Maldives Association for Travel Agents & Travel Operators (MATATO) as part of promoting Maldivian tourism in Malaysia.
